The stone sarcophagus extends under the floor a bit, and is filled with earth. Upon the dirt are jewels and golden offerings laid around a long-dead skeleton. She lies peacefully in repose, her clothing rotted around her, but blonde hair - with a familiar wisp down the center - is clearly splayed out to the sides.

Halea: Long gone, but unmistakable. My sweet little canary.

Silas leans over the tomb, eyes wide and smiling.

Silas: Shoshana herself... I've never seen a dead body so old... What was she like?

Halea looks down with a soft smile.

Halea: This one? This one was ENTERTAINING. Spoiled. Naïve. Childish. And relentlessly aggravating. But she was the best thing a human could be to me: USEFUL.

Halea flicks her hand down, summoning a bright ball of cyan fire in her palm. Silas looks over with a start.

Halea: Alas. She is LONG past her usefulness.
