As Daphne buries herself in Halea's arms, the high priestess closes her eyes and pats the back of her head. With Daphne not looking at her, she smiles wryly.
Halea: We sailed back as quickly as the goddess would allow.
She opens her eyes, half lidded.
Halea: It seems we had fair winds at our backs.
The elderly woman side-eyes Halea with a cunning smile. Behind her, the samoyeds look worried.
Older Woman: That little dinghy of yours got here a full week early. Those winds aren't just FAIR... They're DIVINE.
Daphne whirls around, tears still in her eyes. She admonishes the woman.
Daphne: Mother, what did I JUST say?!
Behind her, Halea stares down with her peacock eyes, cool and unfazed. She continues to smile.
Daphne: This is the absolute WORST time for your weird little suspicions! Hallie's own daughter is probably gone now too... Please give her the respect she deserves!
