Halea reaches the end of the hall, where the glass sarcophagus rests. She regards the female mummy within, puffing on her long pipe.

The mummy's bandages are far older and darker than those of its neighbors. They are covered in ancient bits of damage - most of them look like burns or cuts. It has metal bands holding it down by its neck, torso, arms, thighs, and ankles.

One of its hands is missing several fingers, cut off at various knuckle lengths. The old meat and bone of the body beneath shows through.

Halea continues looking down with the same blank coldness as she regarded Phaedra's corpse.
