An outside view of the cave surrounding the Mantaluna. The smoke from the kitchen wafts toward the open air. Walking toward in, illuminated by a waning moon, is a tiny figure dressed in blue.
Pavel (offscreen): Mr. Silenus... Lani talked about 'not having a lot of time left.' ...What does that mean? What will happen to all of you when I leave?
A closer view of the figure. It's Phaedra, walking forward in the moonlight.
Cal (offscreen): That depends on Her Highness's heart... and the whims of the Red Tide King. But it's not for you to worry about, Master Morena. The problems of the dead aren't yours to solve.
A closeup of Phaedra's empty eyes. She stares forward as she walks.
Pavel (offscreen): But what if Phaedra doesn't get better?
Cal (offscreen): Then we will be thankful for the time given to us...
Inside, the crew has set up their dinner. It's a smorgasbord. A giant pot of chili, a bowl of fresh salad, bowls full of cut fruits and vegetables, a wedge of cheese, a meat and rice dish, baked buns and scones, a pitcher of orange juice, and a cup of lemon tea. There's a small vase filled not with flowers, but with bare little sticks.
Cal (offscreen): ...And enjoy the rest of the banquet that is our lives.
Lani, Irving, and Katja look upon the feast.
Lani: ...I like the STICKS, Irving.
Irving: Shut up. He didn't give us flowers.
