Lani looks worried.
Lani: Woah, woah, the volunteer thing? Would you really think about asking for his help?
Phaedra looks sheepishly off to the side.
Phaedra: NO, no. He's way too young... but... I don't know. We're running out of time... and I know that's my fault.
Lani gets out of her chair and zooms over to Phaedra's desk, getting in her face with a pointed finger.
Lani: HEY!! Rephrase.
Phaedra grabs a scone and munches it, sweating.
Phaedra: I mean... uh... I was processing my emotions and needed some space, but now I'm doing a lot better! Because... scones.
Lani clasps her hands together brightly.
Lani: GOOD.
Lani zips backward back to her chair, as the others look on. Phaedra holds her teacup at her desk.
Phaedra: So... yes. If we do manage to get the ship out of this cave... whatever's waiting for us could be very dangerous for a living child. I have ZERO intention of trading his life for ours.
